Saginaw Valley State University
Location: Saginaw, Michigan
Description: Our project at SVSU included renovation and new construction of several buildings at the growing University.
Project: Doan Center Expansion and Founders Hall
Size: 55,300 S.F.
Architect: Dow-Howell-Gilmore
During the expansion of the Doan Center Cafeteria, we were able to work around the existing kitchen and keep it operating at 100% capacity. Founders Hall is used by the University to hold special ceremonies, serve as a chapel and house recitals.
Project: Student Center
Size: 34,000 S.F.
Architect: Robert C. Wakely in association with Wigen, Tinknell, Meyer and Assoc.
The Student Center is an activity/study addition to Doan Center, including a convenience store, cafe, and Barnes & Noble bookstore.
Project: Fitness Center
Size: 15,000 S.F.
Architect: Robert C. Wakely
The Fitness Center is an addition to the Ryder Center, which houses cardio workout equipment and rental equipment area. It was designed with the potential of future additions to the space.
